Performing Shotgun Proteomics Analysis on the European Galaxy Server

The workshop gives an introduction to the Galaxy framework with a focus on proteomics. The theory part is followed by a hands-on data analysis of a public benchmarking dataset using MaxQuant on the European Galaxy Server. The computing environment of the European Galaxy Server is based on public clouds, which can be used for free and directly via the Galaxy graphical user interface and don't require any technical setups. During the hands-on session participants will get to know the main features of Galaxy such as loading data from different sources, generating file collections, performing step by step analysis, sharing histories, generating workflows, and running workflows.
