This Friday, April 2^nd from 2-3:30pm ET, the Midwest Association of Core Directors (MWACD) is hosting a career event for community college, undergraduate, and graduate students to learn about careers in core facilities (https://mwacd.abrf.org/career-in-cores/). With over 50 registrants, we need volunteers from all levels of the core community to talk about what it is like to work in a core and the paths to get there. We’ll be finalizing breakout sessions on Wednesday. In these breakout session, you will be asked to describe your typical day, the qualifications required, the best/worst parts of your job, and any advice for someone interested in your line of work.
